Enrollment Process
1. Attend an information session or schedule a parent tour. Information Sessions will be offered several times during the year to tour our school and meet teachers. Individual tours may be scheduled by emailing Melanie McGinn directly.
3. Schedule a family visit. In December and January, you and your child will be invited to come in to complete a 30 minute in person family visit. This visit is done together with our head of school and one of our Montessori teachers.
2. Submit an application. To be considered for early Admissions, submit your completed application by November 30, 2022 (current students) December 21, 2022 (new students). We will continue to accept applications after this date, but priority is given to those we receive by the deadline.
4. Admissions decisions. Applications received by December 21st will receive notification of enrollment status by February 17, 2023. The following priorities are observed in determining admission: current enrollment, sibling currently enrolled, classroom space/availability, balancing of ages and genders in each classroom and date of application. Contracts and tuition deposits are due within 2 weeks.
About Enrollment
Enrollment in Ithan Montessori School is open to children ages 25 months to 6 years of age and shall be granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, gender or disability. Enrollment is ongoing throughout the school year however may be limited based on classroom size.
Initial enrollment is contingent upon receipt of completed registration forms and acceptance of Ithan Montessori’s policies and guidelines.
Schedule
Half-day program: 8:30am – 11:30am
Full-day program: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Extended morning: 7:30am – 8:30am
Extended afternoon: 3:30pm – 5:30pm
